Quilt/Sewing Shops and Guilds

Montavilla Sewing Center offers sewing machines, services and classes at four locations in the Portland area. They service all of our classroom and donation sewing machines.

Quilter’s Corner is a cozy Beaverton quilt shop. Customers call it “a thimble full of lovely.” Quilter’s Corner serves as a drop-off location for CCQ fabric donations.

Columbia FiberArts Guild provides a network and forum for fiber artists of all abilities and encompassing all aspects of fiber art.

Sewn Loverly is a fabric and sewing store in Wilsonville that offers classes for kids and adults. Sewn Loverly serves as a drop-off location for CCQ donations.

A Common Thread is a full service sewing center in Portland that offers sewing machines, fabric, and classes.

Canby Quilt and Fabric offers a variety of fabrics, books, kits, notions and classes. The shop also supports local nonprofits and quilt guilds with its annual August quilt show.

The Quilted Hill used to be a popular quilt shop in Yamhill, Oregon. They closed their retail operations and now offer longarm quilting services.

Quilting Industry Supporters

P&B Textiles, a leading supplier of 100% cotton fabrics for quilting and crafts, has sent us quality fabrics. Their wide selection of beautiful fabrics is available in independent quilt shops around the world.

C & T Publishing publishes exceptional books, patterns, and other products for the quilting, paper craft, and fiber art markets. C & T has given each student a copy of Start Quilting with Alex Anderson.

Other Supporters

Dew Drop Dolls & Stories offers doll/story kits to bring together grandparents, parents, friends, and children around the Dewdrop Doll characters. They donated 35 kits for the CCCF Head Start program.

Canby Public Library displays student quilts two months a year as part of its rotating art exhibition program. The library offers CCQ member-made quilts for sale with all proceeds going to CCQ.

The Episcopal Church in Western Oregon’s Prison Ministry supports CCQ with an annual donation.

The Place To Be Cafe has hosted fundraisers and quilt shows, providing an inviting venue and delicious refreshments in Canby.
